A little serious of our mind:

Try to imagine, that your grandchildren can´t speak with you in your language......

Learn your family the language of the roots, so your family - children can speak their language from childhood!

Learn your family the culture of the roots, so your family understand and respect the roots e.g. Mano Po!

Waste and wastes
are unwanted or unusable materials. Waste is any substance which is discarded after primary use, or it is worthless, defective and of no use.
The term is often subjective (because what is waste to one need not necessarily be waste to another) and sometimes objectively inaccurate (for example, to send scrap metals to a landfill is to inaccurately classify them as waste, because they are recyclable).

Why PH is world’s 3rd biggest dumper of plastics in the ocean
by Pia Ranada Published October 06, 2015

Irresponsible garbage hauling companies and the presence of open dump sites near rivers are two reasons why the Philippines is among the world's top ocean polluters, according to a new study

PH among top nations dumping plastic into seas
by/KD Suarez Published Feb 13, 2015

China emerged as the top contributor, with an estimated 1.32-3.53 MMT going into the sea, out of a total 8.82 MMT mismanaged plastic waste a year. Indonesia is next, with an estimated 0.48-1.29 MMT of plastic marine waste annually, followed by the Philippines, with around 0.28-0.75 MMT of plastic waste.

Published in the February 13 edition of the journal Science, the study was led by NCEAS.

Cebu City can’t look the other way
January 19, 2017

Residents in the southern city complained of bad smell and of the leachates the garbage trucks of Jomara Konstruct Corp. spilled while bringing the trash to Aloguinsan town in southwest Cebu.

DENR chief’s order
Published October 21, 2016
It's good that Secretary Gina Lopez of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) visited Barangay Inayawan the other day to see for herself the situation in the controversial dump site. Because she was accompanied there by Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña, who has insisted that the facility that has long outlived its lifespan can still be used for two more years, that visit also tested Lopez’s objectivity.
No rush to close dump site?
Published October 26, 2016
When Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Gina Lopez ordered her people in the region to issue a closure order for the Inayawan dump site during her visit to Cebu City last week, there was an obvious sense of urgency in her decision. She described the dump site, which is near the sea, as an “environmental bombshell.” That's a vague phrase, but the message is clear.
Osmeña’s obsession
November 10, 2016
It seems like Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña is finding it hard to move on from Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Gina Lopez's description of the reopened Inayawan dump site as an “environmental bombshell.”
Cebu City villages dump waste in SRP
December 18, 2016 By Razel V. Cuizon Elias O. Baquero
The Cebu City Government started dumping its garbage Saturday, December 17, on a vacant lot in the South Road Properties (SRP), two days after the appeals court ordered that the Inayawan Sanitary Landfill should be closed permanently.
Garbage trucks that belong to the City and some barangays started throwing trash on the lot, particularly the area near the Department of Public Services (DPS) compound and the property of Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI).

City’s new dump site
December 19, 2016
Cebu City Government is insisting that the lot at the South Road Properties (SRP) where the city's barangays are now dumping their garbage is a “transfer station” and not a dump site. The intention is obviously to deflect questions on the legality of such a move, which was done after the Court of Appeals (CA) ordered the closure of the Inayawan dump site a few days ago.

Composting has always been the byword of organic farmers and gardeners, but regular households who live in tiny spaces know how stinky that can become.
Garbage, too, is the waterloo of just about every local government unit.
While every garbage trader would want to get their hands on your PET bottles, they will not even touch your biodegradable materials.
